I always wonder whether you find these wonderfully colored buildings or just recognize the potential to present them as such. Either way, I love them. Great shapes, textures, and balance in the composition. This is one of my two Picks of the Day in the Best of Minimalism in Photography group for January 9.

Thank you very much Nikolyn. It is a bit of a mix. I do go looking for good subjects like this, but it is necessary to recognise their potential at the same time. Most passers by would never see what I see. I often get asked what it is I am photographing. Even when I answer, they still don't get it!
